wat does this indication mean ??

im just a beginner in tarot cards readings.... haiyorr ... how to link these three cards and get the message or indication its trying to send ?? individually i know wat each card means... however i dunno how to combine their meanings.... sigh ....

i did a 3 card spread reading for myself today and this is wat came up. The sun which represents the past, three of wands represents the present and two of cups to reprsent the future.

Past : this card is The Sun . means material happiness, fortunate marriage or contentment... its in reversed position, so it means the same but in a lesser sense.

Present : This is the Three of Wands. i summarized the meaning. means collaboration with favourable enterprise - a good card =)

Future : This is the Two of Cups. Summarized - favourable in things of pleasure and business, as well as love =)

HOw to inter relate this past present future???? arrghhh...
